Nestled in the picturesque hills of northern Médoc, Château Pérenne is one of the region's most traditional wineries. The vineyards extend over prime locations and benefit from the gentle breeze of the Atlantic, which provides ideal ripening conditions. Each year, impressive wines with complexity and finesse are created here – a true reflection of their terroir.
The vineyard of Château Pérenne spans 71 hectares and primarily houses Merlot vines. The ripe grapes of Château Pérenne yield about 20,000 wine boxes each year. Top cuvées like La Croix de Pérenne come from the oldest vines. The red grape varieties are composed of 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. For white wine, 33% Sémillon, 30% Sauvignon Blanc, and 37% Sauvignon Gris are planted.
Our actions today have a significant impact on future generations. Forests produce vital oxygen, create biodiversity and provide us with the versatile raw material wood.
We´ve already cleared 39 Hectares of vines and are currently planting trees, selected from the essences that best fit the local terroir and yet can be harvested for commercial use in future.
